For ages we’ve been saying “hey, we should turn on a mic while we’re having this conversation.” We get each other excited about spirituality, religion, history, art, film… about big ideas. We like to write about these things but good stuff happens when people talk. I often think of Derek in particular as having an oral gift, which I wanted to share. Oral vs. written word: each has a different unction. Maybe we’ll turn the mic on friends, too. We’ll see where this goes!
